Spotting Opportunities
All of us wait for good opportunities to come our way. But have we trained our eyes and our minds to spot them when they do come? What all attributes and possible returns would we wish to see in them?
1. Are our minds limiting us to areas we are already in? Will we then miss out on opportunities that stretch us beyond our comfort zone?
2. Will good opportunities appear to be easy at first? Rather, if an opportunity seems difficult initially, does it mean we should not look deeper? Or should this not be a consideration at all?
3. Will we always get public support for good opportunities? Instead let’s think this way – if everyone approves of it, is it really a good opportunity to explore? Wouldn’t the best have already put their flags on top of it?
4. Do we really believe in ourselves to decide if its a good opportunity? Or, are we dependent on Google, our roommates, colleagues or relatives to decide for us? Are we afraid of making our own decisions??
